WBTE is a well-established tea company in USA.
The company grows tea in Sri Lanka processes,
packages and ships directly to customers around the world since the colonial
period. There are four main
factories in hill country. They are Sapumalkanda, Noori, Maliboda and
Nildalukanda. The logos with same identical theme demonstrate their historical
background and different symbols in the middle demonstrate the uniqueness of
each factory. The artworks inspired from monochrome graphic paintings and
emblems found in the company.
Sapumalkanda: The logo indicates the Flower called “Sapumala” in the middle
and the mountain in a minimalistic way.
Noori: The establishment of the factory has a story behind about
“Princess Noori”. Therefore, her face is included to commemorate her name.
Maliboda: In the colonial period, Maliboda was famous for Elephant
hunting. The logo indicates two elephants to demonstrate the prestige of the
elephants.
Nildalukanda: Nildalukanda is situated in the middle of beautiful mountains.
The logo demonstrates those mountains.
